说明On August 22, Prof. Rudolf Wittenzellner, (left), Director of the Gesellschaft für Strahlen- und Umweltforschung, and Dr. Sigvard Eklund, Director General of the IAEA, signed agreements for the extension of two internationally co-ordinated research projects. Under these agreements, the Federal Republic of Germany will provide approximately US $595.000 toward the projects over the next three years. The two projects deal with the problems of fertilizer nitrogen residues, and improving the protein quality of food grain by advanced plant breeding techniques.
