说明Nuclear safety is the subject of draft European legislation tables in early 2003. The European Commission's proposals aim to guarantee a high level of nuclear safety throughout the enlarged European Union and to set up a decommissioning fund for active nuclear installations. In addition, each Member State will be obliged to developed a programme for the management of radioactive waste, including measures for disposal. The provisions will apply in the present and future Member States alike.
