说明SARAWAK, BORNEO/1 - The long house, a symbol of communal living, here (at Riam, near Kuching) houses 300 persons under its one roof. Built on stilts against the inroads of tropical dampness, it has 47 doors which roughly indicate the number of families living in the house.
