说明AEC-70-8771 RADIOGRAPH. . . Dr. Thomas Cairns of the Los Angles County Museum of Art conservation center points out apparent clay filling in a supporting leg of a 2,000-year-old Chinese bronze ceremonial urn. Detail of the ancient urn was revealed by a neutron radiograph taken at Atomics International, Canoga Park, California, using a nuclear reactor of neutrons by the AEC to provide a high intensity beam of neutrons. The urn (left) is 20 inches in diameter and weighs 40 pounds. Credit : Tony Dapello, Atomics International
