ОписаниеAEC-71-9088 GALLIUM-67 FOR TUMOR SCANNING... Staff members of the ultrastructural anatomy laboratory at the Medical Division of Oak Ridge Associated Universities are shown studying an electron microscope autoradiograph. The electron microscope (at left) is a valuable tool in the search for the biological mechanism that underlies the interesting uptake of carrier-free gallium-67 in both human and animal tumours. It has been demonstrated, by electron microscope autoradiography, that the tracer is associated with electron dense cytoplasmic inclusions which are believed to by lysosomes or microbodies.
