ОписаниеH 3335/10 STEAM GENERATING HEAVY WATER REACTOR-BRITAIN’S NEWEST NUCLEAR POWER STATION, AT WINFRITH, DORSET. Construction of SGHWR was approved in February,1963, site work started in May,1963 and construction was completed during 1967. It went critical on the 14th September 1967 when commissioning trials, working up to full power, were begun. Electrical generation commenced on the 24th December,1968 with full design power of 100 M.W.(E) on the 25th January,1968. H.R.H. The Prince Philip visited A.E.E.
