Description AJ 5014 STEAM GENERATING HEAVY WATER REACTOR On 8th May, 1963, building started on a S.G.H.W. Reactor at the Atomic Energy Establishment, Winfrith, Dorset. When completed this reactor will produce 300,000 kw of heat and will supply 100,000 kw of electricity to the national grid. Interior of reactor hall showing reactor area.
