DescripciónAEC-69-8503 SPECIAL VACUUM CONTAINERS ARE BEING FABRICATED by the Oak Ridge Y-12 plant for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The aluminium containers (shown) will be used by Apollo astronauts to transport lunar specimens back to Earth. When the geological samples from the moon are received on Earth, they will be examined initially in the special vacuum laboratory located in NASA’s Lunar Receiving Laboratory at Houston.
