DescripciónThe third regular session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency opened in Vienna on 22nd September 1959. Delegates from the Agency's seventy member states, as well as observers from the United Nations and the specialised agencies and other international organisations, are participating in the Conference which is being held in the historic Hofburg, Vienna's Imperial Palace. The session is expected to last for a fortnight. A photographic exhibit in the Zeremoniensaal illustrates local developments in the peaceful uses of atomic energy in twenty-eight of the Agency's member countries. IAEA/22 September 1959/No.441.
