The first major experiment in this line, as well as for investigations in the field of plasma and reactor physics, is the dense plasma focus, which is an intensive and nearly point-shape neutron source. Within 80 nanoseconds l0^10 neutrons are emitted from the d,d- or Li, d-reaction.
