An electrostatic precipitator has been installed on each of the four pulverized-coal-fired boilers, between the boilers and the stacks. Flyash discharge from the stacks to the atmosphere has been reduced from about 4,000 tons per year to approximately 180 tons per year through the use of this pollution control equipment.
