DescriptionThe second invited evening lecture was given by M.F. Troyanov of the Institute of Physics and Power Engineering, USSR State Committee on the Utilization of Atomic Energy. He described the BN-350 fast breeder reactor at Shevchenko which is used to generate electricity and to provide steam for a water desalination plant.
