DescriptionPreparation at Culham Laboratory of a Scientific Payload for Spectroscopic Observations of the Sun from Stabilized Skylark Rockets AJ 5074 Optical Alignment of the Servo Control System at Culham. This system stabilizes the solar image to a few seconds of arc in order that the solar corona may be examined in fine detail by the normal incidence spectrograph which forms part of the payload. Note: One second of arc is the equivalent of a candle flame at a range of three miles. Copyright United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority 4.68
