DescriptionPrecision type equipment worth some $l5 000 has been donated to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) by the Swiss Government. It was handed over by Swiss Ambassador Alfred Escher to Dr. Sigvard Eklund, Director General of IAEA, at the Agency's laboratory at Seibersdorf, near Vienna, Austria. The equipment will be used in connection with practically all IAEA programmes - medical, agricultural and hydrological - and also in preparing those standardized nuclides of which thousands of samples have been going out from the Seibersdorf Laboratory to a constantly increasing number of institutes throughout the world. Swiss donated diffusion pump operated by Dr. Otto Suschny (Austria), a senior scientist of the IAEA laboratory. IAEA/January 1965/1385. Please credit IAEA
