الوصف6788/4. FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION OF The UNITED NATION (FAO),1968. Nepalese farm workers at the Kumal Experimental Farm in the Kathmandu Valley are harvesting two to three times as much Mexican hick yield wheat as local wheat. FAO Technical Assistance, financed by the United Nations Development Programme, has had particularly good results on the government's farm with two Mexican varieties, Lerma Rojo and Senora wheat. Correct use of fertiliser was found to be essential. The Mexican varieties averaged 37 quintals of wheat per hectare as compared to 10 to 20 quintals of local wheat fertilised only with farm manure.
