الوصفAec-71-9093 IRRADIATION EFFECT ON PONIES’ WORK PERFORMANCE. . .In studies on the ability of Shetland ponies to work after near-lethal gamma irradiation exposures, it has been determined that there is little effect on work performance. In the University of Tennessee-AEC Agricultural Research laboratory study, the lead team sets the pace and a driver is required to maintain a constant gait while physiological measurements are made on the second team. A six channel physiograph is mounted on the load vehicle of the second unit. Each of the five teams is rotated weekly among the load units and one monitored for 1 week every three months.
