DescriptionThe Eleventh Regular Session of the General Conference of the. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) opened in Vienna, Austria, on 26 September 1967, in the Festsaal of the Kongresszentrum. Some 350 delegates from 75 Member states, observers from four non-Member ntates, representatives of United Nations and of the World Health Organization, observers from eight other inter-—governmental and from seven non-governmental organizations took part in the opening of the Session. By acclamation, the General Conference elected Mr. Jan Neumann, first deputy minister of Czechoslovakia, chairman of the State Committee for Technology andChairman of the Czech Atomic Bne rey Commission, as its President.
