DescriptionSafeguards agreement signed by Colombia, USA and IAA Colombia, the United States of America and the International Atomic Ener, Agency (IAEA) signed a trilateral agreement for the application of Agency's safeguards at IAEA's Headquarters in Vienna. Under the agreement which entere into force on 9 December 1970, the Agency will apply its safeguards system to materials, equipment and facilities transferred pursuant to the agreement betw Colombia and USA concerning the civil uses of atomic energy of 9 April 1962 as amended on 24 February 1967. The agreement was signed by Ambassador Cayeatano Suarez Pinzon of Colombia, Resident Representative to the IAEA; Ambassador fT. Keith Glennan, Governor from the USA; and Dr. John A.
